My Garden Gate

Come poorly souls
With minds distressed
Come to my garden
To convalesce
My garden gate
Is open to you
To find some peace
Which is over due
Come rest a while
On my garden seat
So close your eyes
And feel the heat
You can feel the
Sun honing down
To bless your face
So do not drown
See the colours
A brighter day
Floating butterflies
Are on display
The bold beginning
Blossoms unfold
An artist’s palette
All to behold
The birds do sing
Soothing and clear
Choraling for you
Tame and near
Come find solace
From troubled state
Leave the problems
At the garden gate

Thank you so much for your kind words. I am truly touched you found the poem comforting. I wrote this about my garden which last summer was my peaceful place. Many thanks for the nomination and I wish you a gentle time next week x
