Therapy Information

My practice centres around energy and vibration for the mind, body and soul. Energy work can be described as the movement that facilitates flow for balance and well being. The flow includes the chakras, meridians of the body and it’s functional systems. These practices transpire to a deepening connection to Soul and our experiences of well-being can be restorative.  The foundation of these modalities of well-being connect to All That Is, the Universal life force energies and the Path to understanding Self.

My sessions aim to provide a relaxing space for the client’s journey within a compassionate and sensitive environment in a Holistic Centre in Ulverston and by arrangement in the client’s home. The treatment sessions aim to be very gentle, relaxing, and restorative. A client is fully clothed, blankets are optional and on a therapy couch or in a chair. There is minimal touch as hand positions are of light pressure or can be held just above the body.

Crystal Therapy
Crystals can act as a bridge that
connect with the flow of energy.
By reconnecting our energy we
begin to flow in harmony. Imagine
a river flowing, now imagine that
some rocks are in the water as well
as branches, debris and leaves.
Crystals can aid in the decluttering
so the flow is without blockages,
without resistance and without
force. Energy is simply free to
flow. Our energy flows with the
purest simplistic version of self.

A client is invited to lay on the therapy couch and crystals are placed on the
body. A crystal healing layout consists of placing crystals at the main chakras.
Additional crystals maybe added to incorporate the meridian channels and
connect the flow of energy. It is a relaxing and releasing treatment that can
give a whole body sensation of calm and alignment. The energy will only go
where it is required for as long as it is required. After a healing session the
client will need to drink plenty of water and be aware of fatigue and rest well.

Our bodies are in a constant state of maintaining balance for energy to flow,
this is often referred to as chi, or prana. Many disciplines have been developed
to help balance this energy. Reiki, Qigong, Tai Chi, Meditation, Yoga, and
Feng Shui are just a few of the many ways individuals can enhance the flow of
this energy.

Reiki is the energy that connects our higher self with everything around us,
and so it does not only benefit physical healing, but mental and spiritual
growth as well. Contentment, relaxation, decreased feelings of stress, fear and
anxiety as well as an improvement of
physical illnesses and persistent
conditions are common observations
from clients after a Reiki session.
The practitioner conducts Universal
energy to flow. The energy will go where
it is needed and in the order that the
recipient’s body/mind determines. When
a practitioner and client come together
they are the two oscillating, vibrating
objects. The tendency for two objects is
to lock into phase so that they vibrate in

In a session the practitioner’s hand rest on the client’s head, then over the
chakra centres to the feet. Only light hand positions are made, or the hands
hover above these centres. After the session the client will need to have
plenty to drink to keep hydrated and eat well balanced nutritional foods as
their body requires. Some clients experience some fatigue or an energetic
response, it is important to get some rest and self-care.
