Fountains Abbey was founded in 1132 . It is situated in North Yorkshire and is a great place to visit. It boasts beautiful stone masonry with arching, angular cloisters which remain to this day.

Janet’s Foss, Queen of the Fairies
This is a photograph taken at Janet’s Foss, Malham, the Yorkshire Dales. Foss being the norse word for waterfall. Folklore states that Janet, Queen of the Fairies lives behind the waterfall in a cave.
