Coloured Memories
I am more than
Just skin and bones
I am sense, feeling
No pile of stonesI see colour
Not black and white
I look skywards
To see the lightI can feel warmth
Of touch, connect
I remember
I recollectMy memory
Holds pictures too
Of scenes, of plays
A field of view -

The azalea
Springs open with pink scented
Blooms to lift the moodAs the sun rises
Higher to brighten the earth
It mirrors by noonThe shade of the trees
Treasures the small delicate
