Heart warms to winter’s end
Bestows one true life friend
Anchors ocean bed commend
Root of vine to entwine
Find only love to be kind
Circling hold comfort find
Trusting to lilac sky
Hold safe as lullaby
Our time forever, you and I

I am more than
Just skin and bones
I am sense, feeling
No pile of stonesI see colour
Not black and white
I look skywards
To see the lightI can feel warmth
Of touch, connect
I remember
I recollectMy memory
Holds pictures too
