Misplacing things to say, out of pace,
Thoughts unbraced, chains broken,
Stolen.
Unable to be traced, tracks uncoupled,
Words vanished, left broken,
Waste.

Today’s form: the elegy, elegiac couplets (pairs of verse, with the first one slightly longer than the second).
An elegiac couplet is a pair of sequential lines in poetry in which the first line is written in dactylic hexameter and the second line in dactylic pentameter.

I found today’s poetry writing 201 very challenging. Especially the metering of the elegiac couplets. I tried my best and this is my poem.
