THE PLACE WITHIN

#Reflection for #Sundaynightcandlelight 13th – 14th July

The Sanctuary inside the Temple is quiet and still

There is a softening with every echoing step towards the Altar.

On the Altar the candle flame in the glass bowl  beams a warming red.

The gaze softens, the body responds. All that is required is to breathe, feel the glow within and breathe some more, and some more….

She wept….

We are approaching the end of the Gospel and now we see the disciples doubting her experience of the vision with the Saviour. She is challenged by the other Apostles, and she wept. I talk about the breaking down, as the breaking through, as Mary stands fully in her Power. We are taking a step towards the Bridal Chamber, as Mary’s Gospel is paving the way for this to be the most critical teaching……

In this video I am reminded of being fully witnessed brings us completely central in our truth. I see how being seen is a powerful, and a result of circle practice.

Contentment at the Level of the Heart

Here is a new translation, from David Curtis at thegospelofmary.org

These are my new Lights, my new impressions from the first pages with discussions from Peter with the Saviour. Here Peter asks about Sin and the Saviour answers with the words, translated by David Curtis, to ” find contentment at the level of the heart” page 8.

This passage is speaking to me about manifesting at the level of the heart, to find contentment and find that vibration, that feeling that brings my true nature into the everyday. Here I am speaking of maintaining my balance, my harmony.

If you wish to donate to my page to help me with these offerings online I am so very grateful, Thank you.

Mary Magdalene and the Red Egg

There are stories and legends of Mary across the centuries. One of those stories is of the Red Egg that she presented to the Emperor Tiberius and it turned bright red. A miracle that was to represent to the Emperor that Christ was Risen. The story of the Egg is directly linked to the Resurrection, is this the connect of Eggs to Easter?

Here are my thoughts on the story of the Red Egg and Mary. In this video I look at the symbolism and the links to the meaning of the egg. I feel into my own understanding of rebirth and the cycle of the seasons.

All Natures within – Mary Magdalene’s Gospel

Every time I revisit The Gospel of Mary I am brought into a New Light. By that I mean that something new is awakened in me. This is not just my perspective but that of others too. Recently I took part in an online study group on the Gospel and this was a standard format for reading and discussing the words of Mary and her teachings. I don’t doubt there is a little of Mary’s Magic in here too.

Yesterday I read the Gospel from the beginning and the opening paragraphs brought me into the new light of the message from the Gospel of Thomas, “when you make the inside like the outside, and the outside like the inside, and the above like the below”. It also resembled to me the toroidal field heart flow, the flow of energy not just around the heart but all things living, including the smallest of our living cells.

Thank you for joining me on this journey deeper into the Heart of Mary. If you have found this video helpful please consider donating for my continued offerings;

Bunch of flowers – a healing ritual from the ancient women

We have a healing ritual from the ancient medicine women in our own homes. The ancient Miriams, the Maryam, or the Marys are believed to be plant medicine women who worked with the energy of plant and water. Here I am calling upon the woman with the alabaster jar, with spikenard at the house in Mark 14:3, Mary Magdalene and Mother Mother, the women who prepared spices and perfumed oils (in Luke 23:55), the Myrrh bearers, Mary Salome and Mary Jacob. And Miriam, keeper of the waters, as far back as Numbers 20.

The sacred frequency of water from a spring or well was part of the vibration that accompanied the healing elements of the plant. Plant energies and water when consciously placed together, like alchemy, create medicine. We know this from remedies like Bach and Meldings.

Next time you choose a bunch of flowers, intuitively,  from the heart, from your source, take them home and place them in the vase, picture the healing you desire. As for the water, if you don’t have a fresh spring to collect water, try filtered water from a few refills. Place the water out in sunlight for energizing, motivation and positivity.  Place the water in moonlight for soft soothing, cleansing and letting go. When the flowers are place with your careful intentions, sit with them, bring your attention to this as a practice.  You can meditate with your gaze softly on the plant medicine you have created for your unique frequency, the plant, the water and You.

Next time you buy yourself a bunch of flowers, remember the ancient women healers also created medicine with plant, water and intention. Honour them, and remember them too. When you buy flowers for someone else, remember the intention for their healing, their frequency. And for a bit of fun, look up the meaning of the flowers you have chosen, the ones you pick out the most….you won’t be disappointed!

The Mary Magdalene Gospel Books

And the oracle decks….😊💞🤗

These are the books on the translations of the Gospel of Mary. I use a wide view of the translations to find a feeling, a fit, that sits right with me. The sense I get is that the Gospel speaks to us on many levels of our own emotional landscape. The experience I have, and other readers, is that the Gospel can give a new meaning, a quote, a new message each time it is read. This is what is meant by a New Light. How do I know? I have just completed a Gospel of Mary reading course. All the participants in the group experienced New Lights from the text each week! Each time it is read, over and over, it speaks to us “at the level of the heart”.

The 7th Power – the Gospel of Mary Magdalene

The 7 Powers challenge the soul, this is the journey inwards in the words of the gospel of Mary. The overarching theme is to connect to the inner truth through the ascent of the soul. To call out deceptions and dominations to free or awaken to the remembrance of true nature, to Source and as the gospel states, to turn towards the Good. The 7th Power to me is where Mary is saying that the false view is to think of being cut off from source.

The wrathfulness is felt so deeply in the wording; Where do you come from slayer, murderer Where are you going conqueror, vagabond To me the slayer is the capacity to cut us off from our true self and the vagabond is how we rob ourselves from within. This to me is all an internal journey inward and an ascent to our wisdom within that has been sleeping inside us all along.

Translations by Jean Yves Leloup, Cynthia Bourgeault, Karen King.

6th Power, Climate and Brow Centre Meditation

This is a brow chakra meditation, I invite you in the way of the Magdalene energies to anoint your brow with plant essence in a safe blended oil and to use an indigo crystal if you have one to hand. The brow centre to me is the master centre of the endocrine system, the pituitary gland activation point, as well as the 6th chakra point, the Ajna of perception and knowing. It is the master messenger to the body of emotional health, responsive to all our thoughts and feelings as well as our beliefs and how we are seen, by ourselves and others.

This centre is super sensory, it connects to our healing capacity and belief in wellness as well as freedom, wisdom, knowledge, choices and transformation. It connects to our higher spiritual self and consciousness and the imaginal realms and soul vision. The brow is also in connection to our eyes, the inner vision, our ears and inner hearing and all self belief and thought processes of life and instinct from the outer world and the inner world. It is where we affirm our true worth and trust in our selves.

The crystals I mention are;

Lapis Lazuli, the crystal of self empowerment, the Goddess Isis, balances the masculine and feminine energies, clears the way for intuition and inner realms of inner knowing and higher perspective.

Dumortierite, focusing on a task to be fulfilled to completion. Reduces stress and an over active mind and mental exhaustion. Good for getting organised, for healthy motivation and seeking order and gaining clarity.

Kyanite, brings balance from the mind to influence the endocrine system, brings alignment to all systems, bringing you into your own natural pace and balance. Can be used on all energy centres. Helps with nervousness and helps clear thinking in uncomfortable situations, assists in all cognitive processes. Good for dream recall, intuitive recall and slows us down to process problem solving and messages from the brow centre.

Blue Sodalite, for calming and focusing a chaotic mind, builds creativity, brings a peaceful perspective to overwhelm and creates order and structure. Good for meditation and presence and cultivating stillness.
