Serenity
This is a repost of this photograph I took by the channel. The stillness of the water speaks to me of calm, and the single boat talks of focus. To me this is serenity.

Woodland Seat
This is a carved seat made out of a tree trunk that I found in a woodland walk within the grounds of a stately home open for public viewing. The seat has squirrels and oak leaves carved around the sides. It is positioned in an ideal spot, in the sunshine.

Multifaceted
Facets of humankind
As light refractors on the angles
Of the mind
The strong and bonded planes
That hold us safe with love and
Memories like chains
Subtle shards of light
That glisten to remember
Colours so bright
Contrasting fragility
The internal elements
With crystal transparency
Rotations and displays
Born as one holding constraints with
Curves and concaves
