So blue, so pale but
Light still shines on darkest days
So we do not fail
Rise sceptre to the light
Tempest mood be gone not
Too soon
Staid on through winter winds
And blast true colour from
Dark gloom
Brighten light through creeping
Darkness upon the days
And moon
Lines of direction
Forward or back, time to act
To choose the right track
For Cee’s Black and White Photo Challenge: Lines and Angles
I pray the joy of today
Will creep into tomorrow
The sadness of yesterdays
Will not linger like sorrow
The days of happy hearts
Here to last, not just to borrow
For Cee’s Black and White Photo Challenge: Patterns

I feel you so near
But we’re miles apart
All would become clear
To confide and impart
Consuming intensity
Of wishing you here
Back then perplexity
Was pasted with fear
Thinking you are close
That you are at my side
A constant repose
Possibilities reside
(A view, a daydream for the Weekly Photo Challenge: Dreamy)
Haiku to Rain
Day light shaded
Greyness of skies
Dark and faded
Sounds quiet down
Stillness is found
Birds go to ground
Hush of the rain
Cleansing the air
Till sun shines again
